Assessed across 116 countries and territories, the rankings evaluate universities across all 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), recognising institutions that deliver measurable impact through education, research, innovation, governance, environmental stewardship and community engagement. With an outstanding overall score of 95.2, LPU outperformed several globally renowned institutions, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA) [201–300], University of Edinburgh (UK) [91], King’s College London (UK) [101–200], University of Bristol (UK) [56], University of Minnesota (USA) [101–200], Michigan State University (USA) [80], Penn State (Main Campus) (USA) [101–200], University of Southampton (UK) [101–200], University of Liverpool (UK) [74], University of Technology Sydney (Australia) [63], and Arizona State University (Tempe) (USA) [33].

Further reinforcing its achievement, LPU secured the No. 1 position in India across SDGs 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 17.
